How Trevisi Connect complies with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Our commitment
Trevisi Connect (Pty) Ltd processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). We treat the information of prospective and existing client firms — and of any individuals whose data they share with us — as confidential and process it only for the purposes for which it was collected.
Information Officer
Our designated Information Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with POPIA and can be reached at grant@trevisiconnect.co.za. All requests relating to personal information, including access, correction, and deletion, are handled by this office.
The eight conditions for lawful processing
We process personal information in line with the eight conditions set out in POPIA: accountability, processing limitation, purpose specification, further processing limitation, information quality, openness, security safeguards, and data subject participation.
We collect only the information we need, use it only for the stated purpose, keep it accurate, secure it appropriately, and delete it when it is no longer required.
Your rights as a data subject
You have the right to be notified that we hold your information, to access it, to request correction or deletion, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
